You can also engage with your users by using our Email Engagements (Intelligence > Emails). This feature allows you to create and customize an email engagement that you can choose to send out to a segment group of your choice.
Setting Up Email Engagements in UserIQ (first-time users only)
If you are new to UserIQ and would like to try out our email engagement feature, follow these simple steps below to get it configured:
The setup process before creating & using Email Campaigns
Before you set up an email engagement in UserIQ for the first time, you will have to go through a quick little setup process. Reach out to our support team at email@example.com and we'll be sure to help you get set up as soon as possible!
Creating Email Engagements in UserIQ
Once you are all set up, go to https://app.useriq.com/#/create_campaign and select "Email" as seen below;
You may follow the below guide to make sure you best set up the email engagement;
All email engagements are sent to users with email addresses from a specific segment. Verify that the correct segment is selected or create a new segment that fits your target audience for this email. After a segment is selected, a list of all email addresses in this segment will appear. Double check to verify that the correct emails are listed.
From: Default Reply-To Email Address
The From address being displayed here would be the default reply-to email address that you just set up under Site Settings. If you would like to modify it, all you need to do is navigate to Site Settings -> Email Configuration and update it.
Fill in the appropriate fields with the email subject and the body content of your email engagement. Emails can use HTML, so if the default content editor is lacking, the content’s HTML can be manually edited. You can also set a Preview for your email (less than 50 words) to improve click rates.
Once the email engagement is set up, you can then preview how that looks on the Review tab by clicking on the Review & Finalize button. If everything looks okay, you can go to the next step.
Sending Email Engagements in UserIQ
Once the email is created, you would have to navigate to the Email Engagements page under the engagements drop-down. It can be sent by selecting the SENDING OPTIONS button. If the email is not ready, the email can be edited by clicking the EDIT button. A preview email can be sent by clicking the SEND PREVIEW button and typing an email address to receive the test email.
The number of Opens, Clicks, Bounces, Flagged and Spams and Unsubscribes are tracked in the SENT EMAILS tab once the email engagement is sent.
