What are the Magic Segments
The Magic segments are three segments that are initialized with your account. These segments are always Account Level Segments regardless of the filters which allow them to be used for your Account Health score.
- Active Accounts
- At-Risk Accounts
- Inactive Accounts
What they are used for
The segments were designed for the Adoption metrics of your account health score thresholds under the Dashboard configuration. By default, the magic segments are configured to measure login activity.
Customizing magic segments
The default magic segments may not accurately reflect the behavior of your active, at-risk of churn, or churned customers. It is recommended you customize the segment filters based on your user's relevant behavior.
The segments are not mutually exclusive so you will have to configure these so the accounts would not appear in more than 1 segment. We also suggest that you configure these to an indicator rather than extremely rigid.
Keep in mind, you should set up the Active and At-Risk as an inverse of each other, for example; If you set the Active Accounts up with a filter for feature usage for users that have visited a specific page more than 2 times in 10 days, then you should set the At-Risk Accounts up with the same filter showing users that have visited a specific page LESS than 3 times in 10 days, capturing all users that have visited the page 0 - X.
Add filters
Add more filters in order to make your magic segments more accurate. Adding feature use, and/or software installation type, plan type, or information relevant to your users.
